Ladan Yusuh

Registrar

Biography

Ladan is the College Registrar at Montessori Teachers College. In this role, she serves as the primary point of contact for learners regarding admission processing, applications, enrollment, and graduation.

Her interest in Montessori education grew from its emphasis on fostering independence and critical thinking in learners. She finds great fulfillment in supporting students as they embark on their educational journeys and help facilitate their success in the Montessori field.

She has a strong passion for philosophy, particularly continental and social & political philosophy. Ethics and metaphysics are areas she is eager to explore further, as they often leave her with more questions than answers. Outside of my professional and academic interests, Ladan has a deep love for food. On weekends, she often chooses dining places she’s never tried before and invites others to join her in experiencing something new. She also cherishes spending quality time with her family, so usually its her little sister she’ll take to go eat.

Currently, she’s focusing on deepening her understanding of ethics and metaphysics in philosophy. As for Montessori education, she envisions its continued growth, with more integration of its core principles into various educational systems.

A fun fact about Ladan is that if time were no concern, she’d happily walk everywhere she needs to go—whether it’s snowing or sunny.
