The Early Childhood Montessori Assistants Certificate course prepares you to work as an Assistant Teacher with children from 2.5 to 6 years of age in a Montessori school, Daycare or Child-Centered classroom.
The Early Childhood Montessori Assistants Certificate course is based on the fundamentals of Dr. Maria Montessori’s and Dr. Silvana Montanaro’s philosophy and methodology. Upon graduation of this Certification Course, you will be provided opportunities and the necessary skills, knowledge and practical hands-on experiences to pursue a career as a caring, skilled and qualified Montessori Early Childhood classroom assistant teacher.

The Early Childhood Montessori Assistants Certificate consists of eight modules and video presentations. It is flexible in that you can work at your own pace and on your own schedule. You will be assigned a guide who will ensure you are understanding the concepts through the course. Upon successful completion, you will be offered an Early Childhood Montessori Assistants’ Certificate.
This course is a 3 credit course (35 hours) and is considered an Early Childhood Montessori Educator Level 1 Course.
