Biography

Kevin is an AMI-trained Montessori Elementary (6-12) educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. He has taught in various Canadian private schools, including middle school, and served as an ELL & STEM Teacher at multiple elementary and secondary schools in Asia during his early years. Subsequently, he transitioned from ELL & STEM teacher to a Montessori teacher position at the largest Montessori school in Hong Kong. Throughout his career, Kevin has dedicated himself to fostering academic growth, inspiring students, and adapting to diverse educational environments. He has done this by adhering to the principles and teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori and embracing the Montessori pedagogy.

Kevin wholeheartedly embraces the Montessori method and advocates for its transformative approach to education. He is passionate about guiding students in discovering the beauty and magic of Montessori education, inspiring them to recognize its profound impact on child development and lifelong learning.

Outside of the classroom, Kevin enjoys spending time with his daughter, a provincial rhythmic gymnastics athlete. His favourite hobbies are modifying radio-controlled cars, drones, and boats and collecting miniature car toys and action figures.
