Biography

From an early age, Donna has always been passionate about working with children but never saw herself pursuing a career as a teacher.  It was when she was volunteering at a Montessori school during her time at university that Donna fell in love with the Montessori method of teaching.

Donna pursued her passion for Montessori by receiving her AMI training in Bergamo, Italy and worked in many Montessori schools over the years as a Lower Elementary teacher, Upper Elementary teacher, and as the Head of Schools. Donna has currently joined Montessori Teachers College and is looking forward to mentoring aspiring teachers.

Donna loves to travel and has spent a total 13 years living oversees in Paris, Bergamo (Italy) and Beijing, and has travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. Experiencing the sights and culture of a country is always exciting and full of wonder. Biking through a number of these countries was an additional bonus.
