Please apply ONLY if you are an Accredited Montessori Teacher with a MACTE or AMI approved Montessori Diploma or currently enrolled in an Infant/Toddler Montessori Diploma program.
Previous Experience and Assets:
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Assess the developmental level of children. Prepare progress reports.
- Strong leadership skills. Responsible and independent.
- Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible.
Establish and maintain Montessori classroom culture, prepare materials, and maintain all units of study.
- Ministry of Education/Public Health required medical documentation
- Familiar with Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA)
- Develop and implement daily activities for children
- Nurtures independence, self-esteem and success in students
- Classroom management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic, creative, energetic and nurturing
Qualifications:
- Working childcare experience at least 2 years (an asset)
- Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening no more than 6 months old
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Up to Date Immunizations
Fluency in English is a must
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

- 8-hour shift – must be able to work a variety of shifts between 7:30am to 6pm weekdays
