Kingston Montessori is a newly established Montessori school, offering a half day toddler and Casa program. We cater to children 18 months through 6 years.
We are currently seeking a nurturing, qualified and accredited Montessori Casa or toddler teacher to join our team. If you hold a AMI or MACTE accredited Casa or Toddler Montessori Diploma, are passionate about the Montessori philosophy and working with children then this is the job for you! Details of Position:
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Location: 3087 Princess Street, Kingston, ON K7P0K6.
Expected start date: September 2024
(Prep week last week of August)
Salary: based on education and experience
Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.（Monday to Friday）
Requirements:
- Toddler or Casa accredited through AMI or MACTE
- Attention to detail, routine oriented, strong work ethic and punctual
- Ability to work well with other staff members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Teaching experience, Early Childhood Education Diploma, is considered an asset
- Health assessment (no active communicable diseases or infection risks)
- Updated Immunization record
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check (6 months current to hiring date)
- Standard First Aid/CPR, Level C
