Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment, developing lesson plans, and fostering a love of learning in children.

Duties:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum guidelines
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Assess and evaluate children progress to provide constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with parents, and colleagues
• Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Maintain accurate records of children attendance, grades, and performance

Requirements:

• Casa Montessori Teacher Training, MACTE or RECE with Casa Montessori teaching background
• Proven experience as a Teacher or in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate children
• Knowledge of educational technology tools and techniques

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience children and families with diverse multicultural background
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction strategies
• Proficiency in a second language as asset, especially French

Expected hours: 40 per week

Supplemental pay types:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary: $25.00-$30.00/hour depending on the candidate qualifications. 

Start Date: July or August start date preferred. 

This is a permanent, full-time position. Candidate must be available to work a shift between the hours of 7:00-6:00, the hours of operations of our school.
