Qualifications:

• Accredited Montessori Teacher with a MACTE-approved Montessori Diploma is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Holds a current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Possesses current Criminal Reference Check.
• Must provide a clear health assessment- including TB test.
• Able to ensure that all legislation pertaining to the CCEYA are implemented.
• Plan and develop Montessori school programs.
• Love for Science and Math (STEM), able to teach Science.
• Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities- field trips and school events.
• Provide opportunity for creative expression through art, dramatic play and music.
• Assess the developmental level of children.
• Prepare progress reports and conduct parent teacher interviews.
• Maintain child care supplies and equipment.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Responsible and independent.
• Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible.
• Have a very positive and professional attitude and be able to work and contribute to our school and community.
