Are you an experienced Montessori educator looking to join a supportive and child-centered school community? We are currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Montessori Casa Teacher to join our team in Whitby, Ontario.

This is a full-time position, ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and the Montessori philosophy.

We’re looking for someone who can create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment that encourages independence and a love of learning. The ideal candidate brings both experience and warmth to the classroom, working collaboratively with families and fellow staff.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Montessori principles
• Support children in self-directed learning and development
• Maintain a clean, engaging, and well-organized prepared environment
• Observe and document student progress with attention to detail
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about student development
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent events
• Follow school and regulatory policies for safety, record keeping, and daily operations
• Keep a daily classroom log and complete any required reports

Qualifications

• Montessori Casa Diploma (AMI or MACTE preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-organized with strong time management abilities
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Warm, patient, and energetic personality
• Available Monday to Friday
• Fluent in English (French is an asset)
• Valid criminal reference check (or willingness to obtain)
