Ancaster Montessori School est. 1984, is seeking a MACTE or AMI accredited Montessori Casa teacher to begin in September. 

This is a full-time, contract position, renewable year to year. Contracted hours of work: 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday to Friday, September to June as per our school calendar.

Attendance also at pre-planned school events/meetings/open houses on occasional weekends/evenings. Summers off (work available upon request). Benefits available.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Montessori Casa Teaching Diploma (MACTE accredited training)
• Experience working with children ages 3-5 in a Montessori environment
• Reliable attendance
• A love of children and Montessori approach to learning
• Effective behaviour management
• Positive, warm approach
• Effective communication skills (oral and written) in English
• Current First Aid + CPR training Level C
• Criminal reference check
• Up to date Immunizations & TB test
• Fluency in spoken French is an asset but not required
