French Elite Montessori school, newly established in the Niagara region providing a full French immersion environment, is looking for a full-time CASA Montessori Assistant and/or Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) to support the implementation of a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating early childhood Montessori education environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Completion of a Montessori Assistant and/or an Early Childhood Assistant Certificate or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in a Montessori school or early learning setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with other child-centered approaches (an asset).
- French language knowledge (an asset)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members effectively.
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in working with young children.
- Meet provincial (Ontario) requirements for childcare employment:
- Updated immunizations
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
