Scholar Montessori Academy opened its doors in 1999 and has a proud history of providing a safe, welcoming environment and solid learning foundations. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our amazing team as a full-time Casa directress at our Langstaff location.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- A love and appreciation for the natural potential of children aged 1.6 to 6 years old
- Passion and enthusiasm for working with children between 1.6 to 6 years of age
- A positive, creative, and patient personality
- Montessori Teaching Diploma (AMI/MACTE)
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ministry of Education/Public Health required medical documentation
- Ability to work well with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a Montessori classroom is an asset
- Good organizational skills
- Familiar with Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA)
Compensation:
- Salary will be based on experience
- 30-40 hours per week – must be able to work a variety of shifts between 7am to 6pm weekdays.
