Qualifications / Requirements:
- MACTE or AMI accredited Montessori 3-6 training
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on parent education, record keeping, and fostering community engagement
- Genuine passion for working with children, demonstrated through kindness, friendliness, and nurturing qualities
- Prior experience working with children ages 3-6, coupled with a profound respect for their development
- Previous work experience in the field of childcare in any position
- Positive attitude and a commitment to lifelong learning
- Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
- Valid Standard First Aid certificate from a WSIB recognized provider, negative TB test, and up-to-date immunization records
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create an authentic Montessori learning environment while ensuring the aesthetic appeal of the classroom
- Deliver engaging educational experiences to parents, promoting a strong partnership between home and school
- Participate actively in all Curriculum Evenings and Parent/Teacher Conferences
- Maintain accurate record-keeping and planning systems to support student progress
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation:
- Salary commensurate with experience and training

Duration: Ongoing contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
