Who We Are
LMI is a NAEYC-accredited, nonprofit preschool and kindergarten serving children ages 2.9–6 in the heart of Longmeadow, Massachusetts. We are a member of Montessori Schools of Massachusetts and an AMS Pathway Verified School. Our educators work in a warm, collaborative environment where professional growth is actively supported — including pathways toward Montessori credentialing for those who are on that journey.
What We Look For
We value genuine passion for young children, warmth, teamwork, and an openness to Montessori philosophy. Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher Certification is required for teaching roles, while EEC Preschool Lead Teacher Certification is preferred. For all other positions, we evaluate each candidate in the context of the role they are pursuing.
