About Us
Renaissance Montessori Academy is a licensed, non-profit Montessori childcare centre located in downtown Calgary. Our program provides a calm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, grow, and develop independence through respectful Montessori practices.
We are looking for a reliable and flexible Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our team on an on-call basis to support classrooms when needed.

Responsibilities
- Support educators in maintaining a safe, calm, and engaging classroom environment
- Follow daily routines and assist with Montessori activities
- Supervise children and support their social, emotional, and physical development
- Assist with meals, transitions, and outdoor play
- Follow all Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations
- Communicate respectfully with staff and families
- Step into classrooms when staff are absent or additional support is needed
Qualifications
- Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Experience working with children 12 months – 6 years
- Flexible and reliable with availability between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
