Are you an experienced Montessori educator looking to join a supportive and child-centered school community? We are currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Montessori Casa Teacher to join our team in Whitby, Ontario.
This is a full-time position, ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and the Montessori philosophy.

We’re looking for someone who can create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment that encourages independence and a love of learning. The ideal candidate brings both experience and warmth to the classroom, working collaboratively with families and fellow staff.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Montessori principles
- Support children in self-directed learning and development
- Maintain a clean, engaging, and well-organized prepared environment
- Observe and document student progress with attention to detail
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about student development
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent events
- Follow school and regulatory policies for safety, record keeping, and daily operations
- Keep a daily classroom log and complete any required reports
Qualifications
- Montessori Casa Diploma (AMI or MACTE preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized with strong time management abilities
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Warm, patient, and energetic personality
- Available Monday to Friday
- Fluent in English (French is an asset)
- Valid criminal reference check (or willingness to obtain)
