Biography

Rebecca Wood holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Institution and Family Studies from the University of Western Ontario and a MACTE-accredited Early Childhood Montessori diploma from Montessori Teachers College. She brings over thirteen years of Montessori experience to her work. In 2022, she co-founded and operated a Montessori school. In addition to her work in education, Rebecca co-founded Healthy Roots Catering, which delivers nutritious meals to schools across Ontario.

Coming from a family of educators, Rebecca blends her entrepreneurial spirit with a deep dedication to child development. Her Montessori journey began in 2011, and from the moment she stepped into her first Montessori classroom, she knew she had found her calling.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring nature with her dog, Poppy. She also enjoys crafting, knitting, sewing and decorating.
