Casa Montessori Teacher for ages 3 to 6 years of age Qualifications: Only candidates who have a Montessori Diploma and have working Montessori experience, please apply.

Job Duties:

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Assess the developmental level of children. Prepare progress reports.
• Strong leadership skills. Responsible and independent.
• Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible.
• Establish and maintain Montessori classroom culture, prepare material, and maintain all units of study
• Develop and implement daily activities for children
• Nurtures independence, self-esteem and success in students
• Classroom management
• Parent communication
• Enthusiastic, creative, energetic and nurturing

Qualifications:

• Accredited Montessori Teacher with a MACTE or AMI approved Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood
• Working childcare experience at least 3 years (an asset)
• Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening no more than 6 months old
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Up to Date Immunizations

Job Types: Full-time, Contract (12 months). Salary will be based on    experience.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift – must be able to work a variety of shifts between 7:30am to 6pm weekdays
• No weekends
