Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Montessori Lower Elementary Directress to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students aged 6 to 9.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the Montessori philosophy and curriculum for Lower Elementary students.
- Foster a supportive and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages independent thinking
and collaboration. - Create and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain a positive and open line of communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
Qualifications:
- Montessori Lower Elementary MACTE Certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Montessori Directress at the Lower Elementary level.
- Strong understanding of child development and the Montessori method.
