Bee Montessori Niagara is seeking a passionate and dedicated supply teacher (can be RECE) to join our growing school community. The successful candidate will be on-call to cover in the classroom for a teacher who has taken a personal day.

• Confidence and proficiency in diaper changing

Job Description/Responsibilities Include:

• Working hours: 8:15 am – 5:30 pm daily, Monday through Friday (depending on the position the candidate is covering)
• Provides assistance to Montessori teachers as needed
• Provides one on one support to children as needed
• Prepares and serves catered snacks and lunch to the children
• Uses a positive and effective approach to behavior management that aligns with Bee Montessori’s philosophy and values.
• Models desired behaviors
• Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times when communicating with students, families and colleagues
• Complies with Ministry of Education regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children ages 12 months – 6 years
• RECE (preferred)
• Current First Aid/CPR training
• Current Criminal Record Check/Valid Vulnerable Sector
