Qualifications:
- Accredited Montessori Teacher with a MACTE-approved Montessori Diploma is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Holds a current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Possesses current Criminal Reference Check.
- Must provide a clear health assessment- including TB test.
- Able to ensure that all legislation pertaining to the CCEYA are implemented.
- Plan and develop Montessori school programs.
- Love for Science and Math (STEM), able to teach Science.
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities- field trips and school events.
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through art, dramatic play and music.
- Assess the developmental level of children.
- Prepare progress reports and conduct parent teacher interviews.
- Maintain child care supplies and equipment.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Responsible and independent.
- Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible.
- Have a very positive and professional attitude and be able to work and contribute to our school and community.
