Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Casa Directress to join our team. The Casa Directress will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages the intellectual, emotional, and social development of our students aged 2.5 to 6 years old. If you are enthusiastic about the Montessori approach and have the skills and commitment to guide children through their formative years, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Montessori philosophy and curriculum effectively within the Casa (2.5-6) age group.
  • Foster an atmosphere of respect, independence, and curiosity within the classroom.
  • Prepare and maintain a well-organized and stimulating Montessori environment.
  • Observe and assess each child’s individual progress and tailor lessons accordingly.
  • Guide and support children in developing practical life skills, social skills, and academic skills.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding their child’s development and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Montessori Casa Directress Certification from an accredited Montessori training center.
  • Previous experience working as a Casa Directress in a Montessori environment is preferred.
  • Passion for and deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
