We are a three-classroom Montessori school located in Toronto, ON. We have been operating for over seventeen years and are a CCMA Accredited Member School. We are looking for a passionate and experienced AMI or MACTE accredited Montessori Guide to join our team in September 2024! We have a great community of families and a supportive team of guides and assistants.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• MACTE or AMI accredited Montessori 3-6 training
• Currently able to legally work in Canada
• Effective communication & interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills, including parent education, record keeping and informing parents
• Passionate about working with children, kind-hearted, friendly and nurturing
• Have experience working with children ages 3-6, along with deep respect for children and their development
• A positive attitude and a love of learning
• Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
• Valid Standard First Aid certificate from a WSIB recognized provider, negative TB test & immunization records

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide an authentic Montessori experience while maintaining a beautiful classroom environment
• Deliver engaging educational experiences to the parent community that foster home and school partnership
• Participate in all Curriculum Evenings and Parent/Teacher Conferences
• Maintain record-keeping and planning systems

Start Date:

• August 26, 2024

Compensation:

• Salary will depend on experience and training
• Provincial Wage Enhancement
• On-going Professional Development
• Discount on tuition for children of Staff

Duration:

• On-going contract

Hours:

• Monday-Friday 8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.
