Our vibrant and growing school is seeking applications for the 2024/25 Academic Year for a full-time teaching position within a Casa classroom.
BEYOND MONTESSORI SCHOOL is located in the lovely city of St. Catharines, ON (Niagara Region) and is seeking a dynamic, passionate and committed French Casa Montessori Guide.
The successful candidate will be:
- an Accredited Montessori Guide
- speak fluent French (basic, conversational for beginners)
- be available to work, beginning August 26, 2024. (classroom set up, parent orientations, staff meetings etc.)
Candidates should have strong leadership skills, be well-organized, enthusiastic, compassionate, inspired about teaching and have a team spirit enabling them to work effectively with colleagues and parents. The ideal candidate will have a sincere desire to be part of a holistic school which enriches Montessori Academics with a very well-rounded, creative curriculum. Musical, artistic and language abilities an asset. Experience writing report cards is an asset as well as strong classroom management skills.
As our resident French speaking teacher, basic, conversational French lessons will also be required weekly within our Elementary class. (grades 1-3).
The successful applicant must provide a current First Aid/CPR certificate and a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference check; candidate must be a Canadian citizen.
