The Muskoka Montessori School is a beautiful little school located in a natural Muskoka setting. Opened in 1999, we are a CCMA accredited, not-for-profit school. Students range in age from 3 through Grade 8.
At our school, teachers are important team members working cooperatively with administration, as part of a supportive, caring environment, with a positive parent community, and well-established classrooms. We believe in supporting life-long learning and provide regular opportunities for professional development. We have a very low staff turnover, high job satisfaction, and amazing quality of life.
Candidates must possess an elementary diploma from a MACTE or AMI accredited institution, a bachelor’s degree, and teaching experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal and communication skills; loves to challenge, guide and inspire children; and who embodies the seeing-eye and willing-hand principle.
