Toddler Montessori Teacher Position

Children’s Circle Montessori School – Brampton, ON

Children’s Circle Montessori School in Brampton is interviewing for the position of Toddler Montessori Teacher.

(This position may or may not be a Lead Position depending on your previous experience). 

The position is for a Toddler classroom with 15 children, ages 15 months to 2.5 years. 

The position starts mid-August so we can have orientation (paid) in the last 2 weeks of August before our school year starts. 

Required education: Infant-Toddler Montessori Diploma

  • Minimum hours: 8:45a.m. to 4:00p.m., Monday through Friday, September through June
  • Potential of working extended hours Before School Care (7:00a.m. to 8:45a.m.) and/or After School Care (4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.), availability will be discussed.
  • 2 paid Personal Days
  • Closed for 2-week Winter Break, unpaid 
  • Employees decide whether or not they would like to work July and/or August
  • Starting hourly wage is $21.00/hour plus vacation pay which includes $4.00 to $5.50/hour government funding, to be discussed based on experience.  

If you do not have your Infant-Toddler Montessori Diploma, we will sponsor the cost of the course. The employee will be required to work full-time in the Toddler Program while completing the Infant-Toddler Montessori Diploma Program.   • Synchronous online learning (1 evening virtual lecture, 2 hours per week)
  • Asynchronous online learning (self-paced online, 10-15 hours per week)
  • Practical Review days (17 Sunday at Montessori Teachers College)
  • Observation (60 hours) to be done at Children’s Circle Montessori School
  • Practicum (360 hours) to be done at Children’s Circle Montessori School while working
  • the program tuition is paid by Children’s Circle Montessori School
    • if the employee remains at Children’s Circle Montessori School less than 5 years, the employee will be obligated to reimburse the tuition on a sliding scale
