The application proceeds as follows:

For the Montessori Classroom Assistants’ Course, submit the completed application form, by mail or in person, together with:

  • A current resume
  • Payment of the nonrefundable application fee
  • On receipt of your complete application package (including application fee), you will be contacted for confirmation of acceptance. No interview is required.

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

For the Montessori Infant Toddler Diploma Course, and the Montessori Early Childhood Diploma Course , submit the completed application form online, by mail or in person, with:

  • A current resume
  • An official transcript
  • Three letters of recommendation: academic, employer and personal
  • A written observation report of an operational Montessori classroom
  • A criminal check not more than six months old
  • Payment of the nonrefundable application fee
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

On receipt of your complete application package (including application fee), you will be contacted for an interview and English language assessment. This process takes about 1.5 hours. You will then be contacted with the results and confirmation of acceptance. The registration fee, MACTE fee, and exam fee are due upon acceptance.

Montessori Classroom Assistants’ Certificate Course

This course introduces the fundamental principals of the Montessori method and provides opportunities to experience and handle a selection of Montessori materials.

Montessori Infant Toddler Diploma Course (MACTE-accredited)

The Montessori philosophy, which is at the heart of the course, is offered within the framework of contemporary child development.

Montessori Early Childhood Diploma Course (MACTE-accredited)

Dr. Montessori saw education as a natural process for children. This vision is implemented through the experience and wisdom of highly competent, international Montessori trainers.

Montessori Trainer of Trainers

This course is offered to qualified, experienced Montessori teachers who wish to enrich their careers by training as Montessori trainers. Historic foundations of the scientific approach to Montessori education and philosophy are explored.

Montessori Dementia Program

The Montessori Dementia Program has been designed for family members, PSW’s, and other care providers and volunteers who are supporting individuals living with dementia. It will present a new way to think about and provide support for persons living with dementia and their caregivers, using proven Montessori philosophy and systems. Please visit

Online Montessori Classroom Assistants’ Course

The course consists of seven modules and video presentations. Participants will be assigned a tutor that will guide them throughout the course. Upon successful completion of all course requirements, including a final assessment, adult learners will receive a Certificate of Completion.
