Paula Glasgow


Paula has been involved in the Montessori Method of Education since 1971. She holds Montessori Diplomas at Early Childhood and Elementary levels. Her university studies include a B.A. in English Literature and Philosophy, and an M.Ed. in Educational Management.

She has been honoured to present Montessori courses at many international locations. Paula was Dean of the Toronto Montessori Institute from 1999 -2004 where she developed new courses, including a training of trainers’ course.

Helen Traicus

Early Childhood Program Director and Lecturer

Helen graduated with honours from York University Glendon College with a B.A. in Canadian History.  She also holds diplomas in Montessori Early Childhood and Elementary education, along with a Montessori Training of Trainers Diploma from the Toronto Montessori Institute where she trained prospective teachers and assistants at the Early Childhood level for over five years.

Helen has been with Montessori Teachers College since its inception in 2005. As well, over the years she has taught all five curriculum areas and in 2021, is teaching Sensorial, Language, Arithmetic, and Culture.

Katie Lannaman

Infant Toddler Program Director

Katie graduated from Western University with a B.A. in Childhood and Family Relations and went on to receive her Early Childhood Education Honours Diploma from George Brown College. 

Katie is the Director of the Infant Toddler Diploma Course at Montessori Teachers College, where she also works as a lecturer. She holds a diploma in Montessori Infant Toddler education from Montessori Teachers College and has been working in Montessori Toddler environments for the past 7 years.
