Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring a welcoming classroom environment in a manner that reflects the Golden Minds Montessori School commitment to supporting students and their families
• Developing and planning French teaching strategies. Implementing teaching lessons according to the grade levels.
• Participating actively in school meetings to plan, review and update the written curriculum
• Developing teaching materials and teaching aids. Performing administrative tasks if needed. Paying extra attention to struggling students.
• Organizing fun activities and events. Maintaining reports for future reference.
• Attending parents-teachers conferences as and when required.
• Researching various teaching methods and materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in the French language, French Literature, or a related field.
• Prior experience working as a French teacher or a similar role in the Educational field.
• ECE Diploma/MACTE Infant/Toddler Trained and familiarity with the CCEYA Act considered an asset
• A demonstrated passion for working with children
• Demonstrate excellent ability to converse in the French language.
• Strong time management skills.
• Experience teaching children age 18 month to 6 years
• A demonstrated passion for working with children
• The ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player
• A proven professional approach and work ethic
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and goal setting in line with GMMS vision
• Standard First Aid CPR C+
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• Immunization up to date (including a 2 step TB test )
• Have a very positive and professional attitude and be able to work
and contribute to our school and community
• Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible
