The Infant Toddler Montessori Diploma Program (Intensive 6-months) prepares the candidate teacher to work with Infant and Toddler children from 0 to 3 years of age in a Infant Toddler Montessori classroom.
This intensive (6-months) program is based on the fundamental Montessori philosophy and methodology. This program will prepare you with the necessary resources, skills, knowledge and practical hands-on experience to pursue a career as a caring and qualified Infant Toddler teacher who effectively guides children in a Montessori classroom/environment.
This blended (online and in-person) program is created with you in mind. Our interactive learning system is uniquely suited to combine flexible and self-paced online learning with in-person classroom practice, guided by our experienced Montessori faculty. The practicum is one of the most valuable learning experiences you will undergo. Working with infants and toddlers and being guided and mentored by experienced teachers provides you a wide range of real-life practical scenarios to learn from.
The Infant Toddler Montessori Diploma Program (Intensive 6-months) is comprised of the following:
Synchronous online learning (1 evening virtual lecture, 2 hours per week)
Asynchronous online learning (self-paced online, 10-15 hours per week)

Early Childhood Overview
You will learn how to guide healthy growth and development during the child’s very important early years. The child between the ages of 0 to 3 requires a safe, engaging, and nurturing prepared environment to develop trust in themselves and their world. By offering age-appropriate activities and gentle feedback, you as the Montessori guide will help to build the child’s confidence in their evolving and emerging abilities, developing coordination and language skills, and guiding them to gain their independence in daily tasks and activities.
