Huss has been an international verifier of Montessori Training Schools for Macte and has assisted in examining Montessori Schools all over North America. He was previously a Montessori Guide, Supervisor and Principal of three Montessori Schools in Canada for over 20 years.
Sowmya holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Madras in India and holds a diploma in Montessori Early Childhood education.
Katie is the Director of the Infant Toddler Diploma Course at Montessori Teachers College, where she also works as a lecturer. She holds a diploma in Montessori Infant Toddler education from Montessori Teachers College and has been working in Montessori Toddler environments for the past 7 years.
Judith attended Norte Dame College for Liberal Arts and the University of Ottawa and was inspired to take her AMI Early Childhood Diploma at Toronto Montessori Institute, graduating in 1976, where she began her journey in Montessori education. She was privileged to be guided in her studies by venerable Montessori teacher trainers including, the granddaughter of Dr. Maria Montessori, Renilde Montessori along with Audrey Sillick and Sandford Jones (Music).
Hugh began his relationship with Montessori at age three, when he attended a Casa program in the East end of Toronto. Some years later, inspired by a post-high school year of cross-Canada volunteering, Hugh reconnected with Montessori and received his Early Childhood diploma at MTC.
Daureena teaches Child Development, Montessori Philosophy, Practical Life and Culture modules on the MTC Infant Toddler and Early Childhood courses.
Helen graduated with honours from York University Glendon College with a B.A. in Canadian History. She also holds diplomas in Montessori Early Childhood and Elementary education, along with a Montessori Training of Trainers Diploma from the Toronto Montessori Institute where she trained prospective teachers and assistants at the Early Childhood level for over five years.
Dr. Raza M. Mirza received his MSc & PhD degrees from the Graduate department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Toronto’s Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. His areas of expertise & teaching interest include research methods, medical decision-making, the socio-behavioral determinants of health in persons aging with a chronic illness, health promotion, health policy, and factors influencing late-life social, mental and physical well-being.
Shela has sixteen years of experience as a Montessori educator and entrepreneur. She owns and operates two Montessori Schools, Bright Scholars Montessori and Pre-School Inc. and Heritage Montessori Inc., at three locations in Mississauga and Oakville. Shela has a B.A. degree in philosophy, political science, and history as well as a Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
